Consul for Panama. ; who is in charge of the consulate for i Peru, entertained members of the con- j sular corps and a number of citizens I at luncheon to-day. Speaking of Peru’s common interest and friendship with the United States. Senor Quiros said that to-day Peruvians firmly believed in United States sincerity and friendship, not only because they trusted the word of men and nations, so long as there were no facts to challenge that belief, but also because the community of interests of South America and the United States was so evident that statesmen on both sides must be governed by the fact—| P.A. ‘ *
