STILL FINE AND FROSTY The weather is predicted to be fine with some hard frosts again to-night but day temperatures moderating. Last night was the coldest Nelson has had this winter, 10 degrees of frost being recorded at the Cawthion Institute, and 10.7 degrees at Redwood’s Valley. Being the second heavy frost i • succession there were many frozen taps this morning, and pools of water were frozen hard. The cold night fol lowed a calm sunny day, when the temperature reached only 51.7 degrees. The sun shone for 8 hours 22 minutes. The weather continued clear and windless to-day.
