OBITUARY
MR P. MoSKIMMING Dunedin, This Day death occurred last night of Mr Peter McSkimnung, a former M.P. for r* C dth® electorate. Mr McSkimming arrived in New Zealand from Scotland in 1 878 and was educated in Otago. La'er, after some years of experience ■n brick and pipe works, lie. with his fatuer, took over the works of John Nelson, and they were developed in many directions Mr McSkimming was a member and office-bearer of the Presbyterian Church. In commercial life he had be«n chairman of directors of a number of important companies.
