W.W.S.A. being one player short had a strenuous game against Civil Service. The goal shooting of the latter team being very poor. W.W.S.A. won by 22 to 13. those scoring for W.W.S.A. being P. Cortzen 18. J. Laing 4; for Civil Service, A. Compton 7. E. Howard 6. McKay’s were again unable to field a full team in their game against Y.M.C.A., A. By scoring 54 points the "Y” team set a new record. Those responsible were Z. Gay 24. N. Dixon 16. Jean Black 12, Jessie Black 2; for McKay’s, D. Stuart scored 2. Woolworths played a greatly improved game against Swimming Club. The latter team set a fast pace but Woolworths did not let them have all their own way. The weakest spot in both teams was the goal shooting, the defence in both teams giving the forwards little opportunity of recovering the ball having after one shot. Scoring for Swimming Club, C. Fields 6. V. Saunders 4. L. Potton 4. and for Woolworths N. Perry, V. Pawson and J. Marks 4 each. Y.M.C.A.. B, only just defeated Post Office by 12 points to 10. This was a very scrappy game the passing of the Y.M. girls being very poor. The Post Office girls played a more open game, the gym team being inclined to bunch. Those scoring were: for Y.M.C.A., B, T. Rayner 6, V. Amos 4. E. Greenem 2; for Post Office G. Rennie 8. J. Patterson 2. Buxton's with only five players, played well against McKenzies, but found the extra one in the opposition too much for them. Althougn this is the first game McKenzies have won they give their opponents a fair amount of opposition. The scorers were: for McKenzies, J. Svmes 7, D. Harris b. D. Glass 2; for Buxtons, J. Riddell 6, V. West 4. J. McLean 1. Y.M.C.A. men with four players snowed the superior combination against Iron Duke’s five players. The latter team were most unfortunate in their goal throwing, the ball on several occasions rolling round the ring and then dropping outside. Y.M. scorers were N. Clarke 10, K. Gay 4, M. Dayman 2. The results are as follows:—W.W.S.A. 22 defeated Civil Service 13: Y.M.C.A. “A" 54 defeated McKay’s 2; Defence defeated Athletic (men) by default; Swimming Club 14 defeated Woolworths 12; Post Office (men) defeated Home Guard "P.T.” by default; Y.M.C.A. "B” 12 defeated Post Office 10; Broma defeated Athletic by default; McKenzies 15 defeated Buxtons 11; Y.M.C.A. (men) 16 defeated Iron Duke 0. The following is the draw for Wednesday:— Ladies
