In fat sheep the entry of 470 comprised medium to good fat wethers and fat ewes and four pens of first-class fat lambs. Prime heavy wethers made to 18s 10d, heavy wethers 16s to 17s 4d, medium fat wethers 451 b to 501 b 14s Id to 15s lOd. Heavy fat ewes made to 9s 4d, medium fat ewes 6s 4d to 8s lOd, heavy fat lambs to 24s Id, medium fat lambs 20s 4d to 21s 4d. Sixty good fat ewes yarded by one vendor were not offered at auction. In store sheep the yarding of 480 was made up of eight pens of good-condi-tioned lambs, which sold cheaply, three pens of breeding ewes and one pen of half bred wethers. The vendors met the market. Good forward halfbred wether lambs sold at 6s to 8s 9d, threequarterbred wether lambs to 7s 9d. a small pen of halfbred ewe lambs at 9s Id, 75 s.m. Romney ewes at 9s, 20 s.m. Romney ewes at 6s sd, failing-mouth halfbred ewes at 2s.
