The National Foundation of Re- I search on Infantile Paralysis dis- j closed that Dr. Albe Sabin has established the new theory that the poliomyelitis virus invades the human body through the mouth rather than the nose. The foundation said that this opens an entirely new field of infection research, which so far has baffled the medical world. Dr. Sabin also pointed out that inranlik paralysis has frequently followed tennis, swimming or walking in less than 24 hours, and the heavy exercise apparently converted a milder I form of the disease into a more serious [ 1 j paralysis should avoid heavy exercise j i and guard against chills.
