SOLDIER'S DEATH
♦ ACCIDENT WHILE TRAVELLING BY TRAIN [United Press Association) New Plymouth, May 16. The death of Private J. W. Stroud, aged 40. a member of the N.Z.E.F., who ! was struck by a tablet exchange arm i when the Wellington-New Plymouth ! express passed through Moumahaki on i Bth May, occurred in the Patea Hospital to-day. Stroud was travelling to New Plymouth on leave. He has no relatives in New Zealand.
