MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
NEI.SON DEFENCE CLUB The weekly shoot of the Nelson Defence Miniature Rifle Club was held on Thursday, when the championship I shooting was continued, there being a record attendance of 27 riflemen. Keen interest is being maintained in the club's activities and some good perI formances have been put up. In the B grade shooting is particular- , ly interesting, and many of the new members are doing very well. In the A grade W. Freeth shot well to register 6P off the rifle, being closely followed by N. Fielding with 67-1-68. In the B grade T, Inwood and J. Walker topped the scores with 62 and 60 respectively. The following are the individual A GRADE W. Freeth. 68: N. Fielding, 67-1—68; J.
