THE COMPETITIONS

FINAL DAY THIS MORNING’S RESULTS To-day was the final day of the Nel- I son Competitions, and it will conclude . with the second demonstration concert ! to-night and the presentation of | trophies. This morning’s classes were mainly national dancing, the Highland Fling j championship being decided. A bright, class was the song and dance, 12 years j and over. The only musical section I was a Scottish song. By special request the talented little j Wellington performer, Leigh Brewer, j will be seen again to-night, and the de- j monstration concert will also include a j song and dance team, ballets, humorous recitations, dance duo, girl’s song, skipping dance, lady’s popular song, recital with musical accompaniment, piano solos, and children’s vocal duet.
