MATTER OF PRIORITIES RESIGNATION THREAT BY MR KNUDSEN [U.P.A.— By Electric Telegraph—CopyrightJ New York, May 14. Mr Knudsen announced he was determined to resign the directorship of the office for production managemnet it his hands were tied in the matter of priorities, reports the Washington correspondent of the Associated Press of America. Mr Knudsen has taken the stand that he could not continue in office if someone else had the authority to say what orders should be placed before others. To avert such a development the Administration is throwing its full weight behind a move to reverse the House’s decision on priorities and leave them in Mr Knudsen’s hands.
