German papers published in Poland reveal the Poles’ growing resistance. “Deutsche Rundscdau” reports serious fighting in the Tuchola forest near Bromberg where armed bands of Poles are organising. “Krakauer Zeitung” reports another battle elsewhere when the Germans tried to round up a band, a German policeman being killed and two wounded.
