AIM FOR NEW YORK DRESS REVOLUTION [U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] (Rec. 9.5 a.m.) New York, Feb. 19. Representatives of capital and labour of the dress industry resolved to raise 4,000.000 dollars to make New York the world’s fashion capitol. A novel agreement was signed by the joint dress - board, the international ladies' garment [ - workers and four of the employers’ as- ** sociations. The agreement contains a clause giving labour the right to demand efficiency of management. The Mayor of New York. Mr La Guardia, predicts that the agreement will create a dress revolution and “provide our country with the best-dressed women in the entire world.”
