NETHERLANDS GOVERNMENT IN LONDON London. Feb. 18. Despite his obligations to his Axis partner, the Japanese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs told the Diet today that Japan is now negotiating with the exiled Netherlands Government in London. The negotiations relate to trade with the Netherlands East Indies, and the Vice-Minister explained that the position of the Netherlands Government in London was without precedent, but it was recognised as the authority responsible for the administration of the Netherlands East Indies.
