POOLING OF RECEIPTS
MAIN BRITISH RAILWAY SYSTEMS (British Official Wireless) (Rec. 11.40 a.m.) Rugby, Feb. 19. Following the pooling of receipts on the main British railway systems from Ist September, 1939, by Government order, the estimates for the year ended : 31st December, 1940, show a total in- i come of £247,992,000 and an expenditure of £203,480,000 leaving a net revenue of £44,412,000. The net revenue for the full year guaranteed by the Government was £39,850,000.
