Neale 25 retired, Moriarty 24, Reid 14. Goodman). Bowling for Police and Social Security, Hughes took one for 8. O’Sullivan one for 9. Reid one for 10, Neale one for 17. Kilpatrick one for 24. For Slate Advances Ward took two for 12, Vautier two for 15, McKnight one for 0, Preece one for 10, O’Neill one for 32. I CITY COUNCIL V. BAIGENT’S j Baigent’s team secured a win against j City Council in a game played last I evening at the Botanies, scoring 139 to their opponents’ 116. The principal scorers for the winners were: Martin 18, J. Du Feu 33 (retired), Simpson 37 (retired), Ward 12, O. Du Feu 32 not out. extras 16. City Council’s best batsmen were Burdon 13, Hunter 13. Best 23, Hockey 34 (retired), Furness 16. Bowling for City Council, Muncaster, Furness and Scrimgeour were the most successful bowlers, while the wicketgetters for Baigent’s were Simpson, Ward, J.
