OBITUARY
} MRS E. G. WATTS There passed away at the Pahiatua 2 Public Hospital recently Mrs Evelyn - Watts (Eva), wife of Mr Walter Watts, 1 of Eketahuna. Born and educated in o Nelson, a teacher in her early life, she e naturally retained an interest in education and art, and her musical ability r was well .known. Mrs Watts was the J second daughter of the JatairMr and Mrs s Carrington Gapper. of Richmond, Nel- - son, and grand-daughter of the late Mr 0 Eernard Gapper, one of Nelson’s pion- - eers, of 1842. v She leaves a widower, one son, Mr - Campbell Watts, G.P.0., Wellington, 2 and one daughter, Miss Trixie Watts. s Eketahuna. She is survived by two siss ters and one brother, Mrs J. D. Proffitt, I Taranaki; Mrs R. C. Groves, Feilding, and Mr Bernard Gapper. retired e school-master, of Nelson. The many II beautiful floral tributes received ineluded one each from the local Croquet ° Club, of which she was a past presi- ■ dent, the staff of the G.P.0., Wellington, 1 the staff of A. H.
