NATIONAL SAVINGS MOVEMENT
RECORD DAY FOR NELSON Yesterday new' figures in the National Savings movement were created for the city when 145 group and individual accounts were opened. The response from employees continues to be magnificent and since last week’s report, groups have been established in the following mentioned business houses:—R.W. Stiles and Co., N.Z. Fruit Federation. Ltd., Nelson Tobacco Coy., Ltd., H.J. Savage and Son, Ltd., Buxtons Ltd., Ritz Tea and Luncheon Rooms. Griffin and Sons, Ltd., Hallenstein Bros., Ltd., C. T. Webley, Nelson Steam Laundry, McKenzie’s Dept. Store, S. Kirkpatrick and Co., Ltd., Lock Bros., Wilkins and Field, Ltd., Glasson’s Ltd., Vining and Scott, Ltd., M.S. Motors, Ltd., J.G. Ingram and Co., Ltd., Harley and Sons.
