Mr T. J. McCorkindale, New Zealand buyer for Messrs Hallenstein Bros., Ltd. is on a busine. visit to Nelson and is a guest at Hotel Nelson. The Rev. Father J. J. Cullen, S.M., B.A, formerly of Nelson, and of St. Mary of the Angels. Boulcott Street, Wellington, is to leave for Australia shortly. The science master of St. John’s College, Lismore, New South Wales, recently resigned to join the Air Force. His place has been temporarily taken by the Rev Father A. J. Cullen, S.M., B.Sc., of Brisbane, brother of the Wellington priest, who is now to relieve him, so that the former may return to his charge in Brisbane. St. John’s College, Lismore is almost wholly, if not entirely, staffed by New Zealanders. Both Fathers J. J. and A. J. Cullen were students of St. Patrick’s College, Wellington.
