MCGIRR AND HALLY ALSO IN FORM ATHLETICS EASY WIN AGAINSI COLLEGE Athletic scored 385 runs for six wic kets declared in their first innings i reply to the College total of 207 on th first day of the match. A feature of Saturday’s play was th completion of a fine century innings b R. Ralfe whose total reached 144. At the close of play on the first da Athletic had lost one wicket for 10 runs the not out batsmen being flail (36) and Ralfe (67). This pair carrie on on Saturday and added 147 run for the second wicket. Hally’s contri bution of 51 was very valuable. Ralf obtained complete mastery of the bowl ing and passing his century lie adde< an additional 44 runs before Bower bowled him. The score continued to increase rapid ly later in the innings when McGirr go among the runs with a total of 82. Gibb, '33) and M. Guy (47 not out) alsi batted freely.
