PRESIDENT’S TO OUR JEW®. BOLD VENTURE AND BAYARD DEAD-HEAT HAMILTON, 7th December. The summer meeting of the Waikato Trotting Club was held in fine weather, the track being in excellent order. The attendance was large. The totalisator handled £23,997 compared with £27,277 at the meeting last year, a decrease of £3280. Results: — Innovation Handicap, of £139; 3.49 class; one mile and a half —2-2 Modest Maid, 36yds bhd (M. Stewart), 1; 11-12 Worthy Treasure, 108yds bhd, 2; 9-10 Rara Avis, scr. 3. Scratched: Macs Jimmy. Rotowah, Mattie Herbilwynn, Dolores Silk. Won by a length and a half; three-quarters of a length. Times: 3,32 1-5. 3.26 3-5, 3.35 4-5.
