PRISONERS OF WAR
MILLION AND A HALF IN GERMANY [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-CopyrtghtJ BERLIN, Bth December. It is authoritatively stated that there are 1,410,000 prisoners of war in Germany, including British, French, some Poles and others, distributed among 120 camps. Some hold 70,000 each. At present 1,189,000 prisoners are gainfully employed under conditions laid down at Geneva.
