TRADE EXPANSION
BRITAIN’S AGREEMENT WITH TURKEY [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] ISTANBUL, Bth December. It is reported that Anglo-Turkish and Empire-Turkish trade expansion can be expected to result from the financial agreement. Turkey is seeking Empire coton, jute, steel, and wool. AngloTurkish contracts will shortly be signed for 22 locomotives and 650 wagons. It has been agreed that where two markets are available, the preference shall go to the Empire.
