INTERCESSION
Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by Him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well (1 Peter ii, 18-14).
We pray for all in authority over us, especially for his most sacred Majesty King George, that Thou wouldst protect his person, prosper his Government, and enrich him with all heavenly gifts. We pray for all rulers and magistrates of the realm, that Thou wouldst guide them with Thy counsel; and for the whole British Empire, that Thou wouldst deliver it from its present danger, i iblish it more and more in righteousness, and keep it true tc the trust Thou hast committed to it, for UK glory of Thy name.
