Africa and intermediate Empire countries, 1/6 each half-ounce; postcards, 9d. Foreign countries intermediate between Australia and Egypt, special rates apply. Enquire at Post Office. The air service between Egypt and the United Kingdom is suspended. The most practicable alternative to sea transport for the full distance being as follows: (A) New Zealand-Honolulu by sea. Honolulu-New York by air, New YorkUnited Kingdom by sea, 1/9 half-ounce (B) New Zealand-Honolulu by sea, Honolulu-Llsbon by air, Lisbon-United Kingdom by sea, 4s half-ounce.
