WELCOME REBEKAH LODGE
FORTNIGHTLY MEETING The fortnightly meeting of the Welcome Rebekah Lodge was presided over by Sister W. Robinson, Noble Grand, A letter was received from Loyal Howard Lodge returning thanks for the recent Flag 500 evening. Bro King wrote that the cake sent to PrL vate McGregor in Egypt had reached its destination. One new member was duly installed m the order in regular form. An account for £7 Is 6d was passed for payment. The annual Christmas party for the children will be held on Tasman Lodge’s night. Bro. F. Reeves D.D.G.M.. introduced by Bro. J. Gay D.D.G. Marshal, paid an official visit to the lodge and was given the Honours of the Order. Bro. Reeves installed Sister F. Gay in the Past Noble Grand’s chair. Sister Cotton gave a review of the National Women’s Reserve meeting. It was resolved to assist the Rechabite Lodge in the improvement to the bowling floor. It was resolved to send a letter of deep sympathy to the relatives of the ate Private F. A. Ricketts accidentally killed in Egypt. The patriotic cake committee announced that the third division of cakes was about to close and members were requested to attend lodge next meeting in order to assist in the sewing up of the parcels.
