SUMMER PAGE COMPETITIONS
Painting Competition: Intermediates of 9.11 years. Juniors, 8 years and under.
Poem: “The Best Things of Summer”—For everybody.
Story: “What Happened When Willie Winter Forgot to go home.” Seniors of 12 years and over.
In the story you can tell how Cineraria Spring and Lady Summer were ivaiting for their turn in the world, but Willie Winter was enjoying himself too much, and wouldn’t come back home to the House of the Seasons. Perhaps some of the summer flowers came out and were killed, or perhaps everyone thoroughly enjoyed winter weather all through December and January.
All the entries must be in at “The Mail” Office by Tuesday, 10th December at the latest, and we will have an Honours List for each section in the Summer Page next week.
