DEFENCE BLOC URGED
PORTUGAL, SPAIN, BRAZIL (U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright| LISBON, 4th December. The Press to-day chorused the desirability of a Portuguese-Spanish-Brazil-ian bloc. It was suggested that the Spanish participation in the Portuguese centenary is proof of the countries’ cordial relations, the papers adding: “When danger is near we can combine for our common defence.”
