PRESENTATION MADE
FORMER OPPOSITION LEADER (United Press Association) WELLINGTON. This Day. A presentation to the former Leader of the Opposition, Mr Hamilton, w'as made when certain members of the Opposition met him at a supper party on Wednesday night. Mr Hamilton was presented with a piece of silver in recognition of his distinguished service to the country and the National Party. The speakers included Mr Burnett, M.P. for Temuka. and Mr Forbes, M.P. for Hurunui. In reply. Mr Hamilton thanked those present for their loyalty and support.
