GERMAN AIR LOSSES ON THURSDAY [British Official Wireless] (Received 6th December. 2 p.m.) RUGBY*, sth December. An Air Ministry communique states: “Fourteen enemy aircraft were destroyed to-day. In addition to those shot down in combats over south-east England an enemy bomber was shot down off the south-west coast. Two of our aircraft were lost, the pilot of one being safe. ITALIAN VERSION OF RAID (Received 6th December, 9.20 a.m.) i ROME, sth December. A communique states: “One person was killed and three injured during an RAF. raid on Turin. Several fires in the vicinity of a hospital were soon extinguished Wool factories and a carpet factory were hit.”
