BUXTONS LIMITED announce their appointment as sole agents in Nelson for the WALTERS ELECTRIC SAFETY FENCE incorporating the following outstanding new features in ELECTRIC FENCES. These features were incorporated with the one object of making on Electric Fence Unit entirely free from trouble and capable of giving continuous service under all conditions and in all weathers. Surprisingly economical in use, yet capable of charging fifteen miles of fencing. ★ UNIT CONSTRUCTION. ★ Unlike the majority of Electric Fences, which have been constructed to a low price, the WALTERS SAFETY FENCE employs unit construction, which means the actual working mechanism is constructed as CNE PART, and not assembled in one case, employing as in all other fences, the metal box as an actual part of the working mechanism. This is very important if the Electric Fence Controller has to stand up to any normal use as on on average farm. As an example, one has only to try the effect of slightly twisting the case of any other electric fence while it Is in operotion, and on immediate change in its speed is noticed. This is caused by the adjustments (which are set to give an economical speed before leaving the factory), being upset. A similar test carried out on a Walters Fence Controller will not alter the speed or running, because the actuol unit Is completely INDEPENDENT of the case, and will still function when token out of the case Shcrt of destruction i is practically impossible to alter the adjustments of the Walters Safety Fence, which is a big factor influencing economical operation and long life. ★ WATERPROOF. ★ No additional covering is required as it is constructed to withstand any amount of continuous rain. Very few electric fences can claim the above. This is another point making for trouble-free service. The highest quolity material available has been used throughout, for instance: First quality wire is used in a completely moisture-resisting transformer. Full size electric points, visible spark gap, tell-tale fence condition, meter for measuring battery condition, and adjustable charge to fence incorporated in this unit. (No bronze strips are used as springs which is the greatest cause of breakdowns experienced so far, and which practically all other types employ, being cheaper). These are just a few features which go to make the Walters Safety Electric Fence foremost in New Zealand for consistently economical operation. The total cost of the Electric Fence is less than the cost of the posts in an ordinary fence. Only one strand of wire is required and th present wire shortage is an important reason why wire should be conserved by using the Walters Electric Fence Unit. Easy to erect and as efficient as an ordinary five or six wire fence. Price, complete with Wet Battery and Insulators, £l4/10/0; with Dry Battery the price is only £l3/10/0. The WALTERS ELECTRIC FENCE is weather proof, foolproof and is of solid, undamageable engineering construction. BUXTONS LIMITED SOLE NELSON AND DISTRICT AGENTS.
