A statement that Bulgaria intended to keep out of the war was made by the Foreign Minister. M. Popoff. in the Bulgarian Parliament. He referred to the return of the southern Dobruja and Bulgaria’s better relations with Soviet Russia Bulgarian was doing her best to ensure that relations with Yugoslavia v er*= equally friendly. Relations with Turkey, he said, were actuated by peace and friendship The talks recently held between King Boris and Herr Hitler demonstrated Bulgaria’s importance. The best method c f maintaining peace, he declared, was to be ready to face danger.
