According to the “Evening Standard.** the House of Commons is expected soon to debate the British peace aims. The debate is to be initiated by the Independent Labour Party, and Mr John McGovern will move a motion attacking the Government for not having stated its peace terms and having failed to call a peace conference. Independent Labour Party circles are i of the opinion that the motion will re- | ceive the support of 20 members of the 1 official Labour Opposition, who will \ meet shortly to define their attitude toward “peace planners."
