j STATE ADVANCES BEAT COMBINED BANKS j State Advances and Combined Banks played a game at the Botanies last levelling, the former winning by 47 runs. State Advances made 116 and, Combined Banks 69. Batting for State Advances: Vautier 36 (retired), Kerr 30 (retired), Preece 17 and McKnight 11 were the double figure batsmen. Bowling for State * dvances: Ward took three wickets for 5 runs; Haigh, two for 13; Preece, one for 4; Vautier, one for 13 and Rice, one for 17. Batting for Combined Banks: ComI mon 30 (retired) and Mac Gibbon 15 I were the only two to secure double figures. I Bowling for Combined Banks: | Hishon took three wickets for 32 runs; Frost., two for 14; Ayshford, one for j 18 and Litchfield, one for 24 were the best bowlers.
