Several appeals for the postponement jof territorial service to-day were ad-' Ijourned sine die by the Auckland area j manpower committee because appei lants’ obligation for territorial service | had been automatically postponed by (their being called up in the first ballot j for overseas service being published tcj day. Surprise was expressed by apj pellants when they heard for the first time from the secretary to the committee that their names had been drawn again.
