SPANISH AIR MISSION
IMPRESSED BY VISIT TO BRITAIN ! I U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] | (Received 18th November. 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, 17th November. The Lisbon correspondent of “The Times” says that a mission headed by Senor Ansaldo has returned from its visit to England. Senor Ansaldo declared that he was much impressed with the organisation and spirit of the British people, also with the power of the R.A.F. The correspondent adds that the visit was opportune and significant because the Spaniards have little knowledge of Britain s war effort and potential strength. Even information in Govern ment circles is derived almost exclusively from German sources.
