| EASTER TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE The combined Nelson and Maitai committee which controlled the Easter tournament held its final meeting last eevning, Mr A. Rout was in the chair and also present were Messrs A. St. John, V. Vitetta, F. Mitchell, E. C. La Frentz, and M. McLeod. The treasurer preesnted a financial statement which was adopted, and it was decided that the surplus £5 Os 7d be divided equally between the Nelson and Maitai Clubs. Mr St. John moved a vote of thanks to the secretary, treasurer, and Mr A. Rout, for services rendered in connection with the tournament and expressed the appreciation of the committee on the successful management of the games. He felt sure that all those who took part were well satisfied with the arrangements made, and he had re- | ceived some very appreciative letters from visiting bowlers who had thoroughly enjoyed their stay in Nelson. Messrs Vitetta and La Frentz expressed similar sentiments and the motion was carried. Several recommendations to the committee elected to control the tournament next Easter were passed, after which the meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the 'chair.
