ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR ENSUING TERM At the annual meeting of the Takaka Plunket Society, Mrs J. 4V. Page (president), who presided over a fait- att« ndance of members, said it was gratifying to know that the year just ended had been a successful one in every inspect. The financial statement gave emphasis to this fact and mentioned that tht satisfactory balance was partly due to the generosity of Mr and Mrs Geo. Lucre. Thanks were also accorded Messrs Newmans Limited for free conveyance of the nurse. Mr Colin bcolt (for auditing) and the Women’s Division for the use of the Rest Room. ELECTION OF OFFICERS Officers for the ensuing year were lected as under;— President. Mrs J. W. Pago, junior (reelected); vice-presidents, Mesdames Windle, Vaughan, J. G. Bartlett, Budd, Cashman, V. Page, Eves, Cottier and Jones. Nurse Hight’s report for the year ending 31st March, 1940, was as follows: Visits to Plunket Room, adults, 541; babies, 543; children, 64. Total, 1148. Visits to the homes, 33; new babies, 33.
