INVITATION TO VISIT AMERICA [U.P.A.— By Electric leiegraph—Copyrightj (Received 30th April, 11 a.na.) SYDNEY, This Day. The California Rugby Union has invited a combined Australian-New Zealand team to visit California early in 1941 with a return visit in June of the sane year. The proposal was submitted to t.'e New South Wales Rugby Union by Mr W. Heslehurst, a former Sydney referee, whose position takes him periodically to America. The New South Wales Union decided t > asK for further details, but informed Mr Heslehurst that n Australian team wjuld not contemplate making the trip while the war was on
