LOCAL ROMNEY BREEDER’S PURCHASE
The recent purchase of a stud Romney ram for use in the Banbury Hills Romney Stud of Mr A E. Hunt was selected by' Mr Hunt through the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency. This sire has an outstanding type of carcass, carrying the typical type of modern Romney wool Specially selected ewes will be mated with this sire along with a limited number of top quality ewes from the flock of Messrs W R. Hunt and Son. "Awanui.” The breeder of the ram was Mr A Galt. Waitui. Southland. At a later date this importation, along with other purchases of the season by Mr Hunt will be open to inspection by sheep farmers who are interested.
