SENATE APPROPRIATIONS
WAR AND CIVIL FUNCTIONS MORE LOCKS FOR PANAMA CANAL [U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] (Received sth April. 10.40 a.m.) WASHINGTON, 4th April. The Senate Appropriations Sub-Com-mittee added over 73.000.000 dollars to the amount passed by the House and approved a 203.000.000 dollar appropriation for the war departments and civil functions, including 15,000,000 dollars for a third set of locks for the Panama Canal.
