PATRIOTIC CONTROLLING COMMITTEE A mooting of the residents of Foxhill, Belgrove and surrounding districts was held in the Foxhill Hall. The meeting, which rvaa convened by Councillor L. A. Higgins, and which was w t l n fl e< , r^P resen talives of the Wakefield-Wai-iti Patriotic Controlling Committee, decided unanimously that that port on of the Motupiko Riding lying north of Spooner s Range should combine with the Wakefield-Wai-iti area of the Wai-iti Riding for the purpose ° f fo ™', ng „ a committee to be known as the Wakefleld-Wai-iti and Northern Motupiko Patriotic Controlling Committee. Four members were elected to represent the Northern Motupiko area and the personnel of the committee is:— Messrs J. G. Wilkens (chairman), F. J. Daynes (hon. treasurer), C C Wat kins (hon. secretary). L. A Higgins n H. Thomas. E. Hoult, R. Hodgson w' Martin, W T. Simpson. M.' Francois S t°- Robertso ". Miss Roulhan and Mrs Lines. Official collectors were appointed to canvass the various portions of the district monthly.
