THE WEATHER
FAIR TO CLOUDY To-day’s forecast is for occasional showers more especially in the western ranges but weather otherwise fair to cloudy. Following overcast conditions in the afternon and thick fog closed down on Nelson on Saturday evening. A drizzling rain amounted to four points bringing the total for the month to 2.79 inches. Sunday turned out beautifully fine, and the temperature rose to 72.1 degrees. The sun shone for 11 hours 25 minutes. This morning was at first sunny but later became overcast with a slight north-east breeze The barometer rose during the weekend.
