Daladier, Prime MinI ister. This entails a refusal for negotiation with Poland. ! (Received 28th August. 10.35 a m.) LONDON. 27th August. The Exchange Agency reports that the War Ministry officially states that Herr Hitler had declared to the French Ambassador that he could not accept M. Daladier's proposal that the Polish and German Governments should attempt a pacific settlement of their differences.
