'Hie Warsaw Press reports that more than 5000 Polish families re. siding in Iht' frontier districts of East Prussia have hecn ordered to m:>ve inland by 15th July. The militarisation of Danzig continues. T wolanks and two field guns were smuggled in piecemeal last night. It is stated that Poland has not yet sent the proposed Note to Berlin. The Danzig semi-official journal “Gazactta Polska" believes that steps may be taken to bring the real facts of the situation to Herr Hitler, as he may be personally unaware of them m The Polish Commissioner of Danzig may warn the Senate that the fortifica lions in the c ity contravene the Statute* The Berlin "Borsenzeitung” say*: “The British tactics are designed to make our knees knock and shake at the brazen unity between the leadership and the people and to demonstrate England's absolute, certain and utterly undoubted readiness for war."
