A GUIDE TO CHARM
(By Jacqueline Hunt) USE LIPSTICK DEFTLY, NEVER LET IT SMEAR “Have a clean line” is a beauty axiom that applies to every detail of your make-up. See that your eyebrows are neat, clearly defined lines with no fuzz over the bridge of the nose, no scattered hairs growing up on the forehead or down on the lids to mar that "clean line.” It applies also to your lipstick, if you must use lip colour at all. learn to use it well. Take plenty of time to apply it. Have a sharp tip on your lipstick or, if you have a steady hand, use a little brush for applying Ihe colour. . If there is a smudge or the line is less perfect, remove the colour with cleansing cream and soap and water if necessary. Then retouch your face with powder and start over with your lips. People tell you that you can change the shape of your mouth by applying 3'our lipstick skilfully, but let me warn you that you cannot change it much. The colourmust follow rather closely.
