The recession in wool prices is illustrated by figures issued by the National Council of Wool-selling Brokers. The value of wool sold in Sydney during the twelve months ended 30th June, was £15.077.537. a fall of £2,54.3,884 compared with the return for the wool sold in 1937-38. The season’s turnover this year was 1.143.856 bales. 48.834 bales more than tor the previous season.
