INDOOR BOWLING
RINKS TOUR NAM EN T 1. AST EVENING A very pleasing bowls evening look place last evening when members of the staffs of the P. and T. Department and the P.W.D. combined to play a links tournainent. Three short games were played and the teams proved to be so evenly matched that the winning rink just got home on the last head of the evening. Mr s Amodeo, Mitchell and Colvin (s) were the winners, their sucecss being due b. all round steadiness, but particularly to the consistent drawing of the lead, Mrs Amodeo, who paved I lie way to victory by well judged bowling. Other rinks taking part were as follows: Stewart, Mrs MacLeod, Addison, MacLeod (s) ; Miss Woodward. Mrs Evans, Pannell, Nicholas (s) ; Mrs Muller, Muller, Amodeo (s) ; Mrs Cooke, Greig, Cooke, Reynish (s); Miss O’Sullivan, Dent, Walker, Corbett )s(; Mrs Mitchell, Mrs Bvough, Cooper, Brough (s) ; Miss O'Leary, Utling, Mayo, and Piper (s).
