CHARGES AGAINST MAORI DRIVER ACCUSED REMANDED ON BAIL I Untied Pram A-uncial ion 1 GISBORNE. This Day. Arising out of an accident in which a cyclist. Iris Annie Berry (22) was killed, through being struck by a motor car, a Maori, Mark Nepia (49) was charged this morning with being intoxicated while in charge of a car, negligently driving a car. thereby causing death; failing to stop after an accident: and driving without a license. Accused was remanded. Bail was set at £4OO.
