EXPENDITURE FOR 1939 AMSTERDAM. 28th June, j A supplementary defence Budget of ! over j:4.000.000 introduced in the i Dutch Parliament, provides for the j purchase of naval guns. aeroplanes, and armaments for merchantmen. The total defence expenditure for 1939 is now over £40.000.000.
