HENRY COTTON TO WED AN ARGENTINIAN BRIDE j LONDON, 23rd June. The well-known English golfer Henry Cotton, twice winner of the British open, will shortly marry Mrs Maria Isabel Moss, winner of the last Austrian championship before the absorption of that country by Germany. Mrs Moss, who is an Argentinian, has frequently watched Cotton playing in big events, and sometimes has been noticed giving him hints. She has partnered him in mixed events and presented him with a big touring car when he won the open championship in 1934. She was formerly the wife of Enrique Moss, from whom she obtained a divorce. She has two daughters. Part of the honeymoon will be spent at St. Andrews, where Cotton will be competing in the open championship.
